Rather you are entertaining 20 to a sit down dinner, or a gaggle of friends bare foot at a New England Clam bake, entertaining is a fun part of the Vintage Lifestyle.

There seem to be no real rules for modern day parties. Often they are slapdash affair of jean clad folk, the tv on and food on paper plates. Yet, even the most modest of homes once loved to throw a party.

With the burgenoing middle class and increasing numbers of Suburban families in the 1950's parties were a way to mingle and show off your new home, family and status. Why just hang out in jeans drinking beer when you could have a theme, or display those wedding dishes or try out the new recipes in all the Ladies magazines?

Today, rather you live a Vintage lifestlye, enjoy old style, or simply want to revive the party atmosphere, you can find something here to help you out.
